As part of our “Tour My Province” trip to Riversdale, Afrikaap Radio had the incredible opportunity to join Hessequa Radio for a joint live broadcast. Two stations united around a shared love for community, creativity, and connection. Definitely one of the highlights of the weekend. Below is a reflection by Oswald Khana.
“This past weekend was truly something special for Hessequa Radio. We give all thanks to our Heavenly Father for guiding great people onto our journey and placing purpose in every connection made.
We had the privilege of partnering with Afrikaap Radio, and what an unforgettable collaboration it was! Although I only knew one member of their team beforehand, the moment we met the rest of the Afrikaap Radio family, it felt as if we had known each other for years. The energy, the unity, and the passion were instantly there.
As a growing online radio station, we learned so much from their expertise and teamwork. We laughed, we worked, we connected and most importantly, we experienced the power of collaboration in the broadcasting world. Two stations coming together, not as competitors, but as partners with a shared heart for community and growth.
We believe this is only the beginning of a strong road ahead not just between Hessequa Radio and Afrikaap Radio, but with many other stations ready to unite and build a brighter future together.
