Cape Town International Jazz Festival 2026

Cape Town is preparing for one of the biggest musical celebrations on the African continent as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival returns with an electrifying lineup and a global showcase of talent.

This year’s festival promises 36 performances from artists representing 10 different countries, delivering two days of pure musical brilliance when the event takes place on 27 and 28 March 2026. Widely known as “Africa’s Grandest Gathering,” the festival continues to attract thousands of music lovers from across South Africa and around the world.

Among the headline acts set to light up the stage are Jacob Collier, the multi-Grammy-winning musical prodigy known for his groundbreaking sound and genre-blending performances, and South Africa’s own legendary jazz icon Abdullah Ibrahim, whose career spans decades and whose music has shaped the global jazz landscape.

Fans can expect an unforgettable experience featuring a mix of jazz, soul, R&B, and contemporary world music, bringing together established legends and exciting new voices on multiple stages.
