Tess Danker is the soulful heart behind The Other Side of Tess — a Sunday morning gospel show that uplifts, empowers, and encourages through music, testimony, and devotion.

Born the youngest of 11 in a humble home led by a strong single mother, Tess has defied the odds with grace and grit. A natural performer from her school days — excelling in drama, dance, sport, and pageantry — she broke into the spotlight when she beat 12,000 contestants to win a role on Egoli: Place of Gold. From there, she built a multifaceted career spanning acting, radio, business development, public relations and ministry.

In addition to her work on radio, Tess has also served as a television presenter on Cape Town TV and is a seasoned broadcaster, brand ambassador, motivational speaker, and winner of the Miss Summit pageant. Through every chapter of her life, she has stayed rooted in her faith, choosing to serve her community as a vessel of love and light. Though she’s been called to pastoral work, she walks her own path — bold in faith, humble in service, and committed to letting God’s love shine through her.
