Following the success of the Tour My Province | Riversdale 2025 Edition, AKR Media is proud to announce the return of the Tour My Province 2026 | Hessequa Edition. This year, the tour will take place from 10 to 13 July 2026 in partnership with the Hessequa Municipality. Together, the partners aim to create lasting opportunities for young people while celebrating the region’s unique tourism offerings.
More Than a Tourism Initiative
However, Tour My Province is more than a tourism initiative. It is a platform that showcases local destinations while also creating opportunities for youth development, skills transfer, and community engagement. In addition, this year’s edition places a strong focus on empowering young people through a dedicated Media and Marketing Training Programme.

As the digital economy continues to grow, so too does the demand for creative and digital skills. For this reason, the programme is designed for young people who are passionate about broadcasting, presenting, storytelling, interviewing, writing, photography, videography, content creation, digital marketing, and social media engagement.
Furthermore, participants will benefit from practical training, mentorship, and interactive sessions led by experienced media and communications professionals. Throughout the programme, they will develop practical skills in radio broadcasting, presentation, storytelling, interviewing, branding, digital marketing, social media management, content creation, audience engagement, and personal brand development.
