Afrikaap Radio is proud to announce a new community outreach initiative driven by All My Sports-SA and the Lions Club aimed at supporting teenage mothers and their babies.

From July to September 2026, the partnership will be collecting essential baby and mommy toiletries, as well as non-perishable food items, to assist young mothers who often face significant financial and social challenges while caring for their children.

The initiative seeks to bring together businesses, community organisations, churches, schools, and individuals who are willing to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable young families.

“Communities thrive when we work together. Through this campaign, we hope to provide practical support to teenage mothers while encouraging a culture of compassion and responsibility,” said the organisers.

Items needed include:

  • Baby toiletries
  • Nappies and baby care products
  • Mommy toiletries and personal care items
  • Non-perishable food items
